Expanded Product Line Forces MagicKitchen.com to Move to New Larger Distribution Center

Shipping Costs Reduced

Los Altos California (December 1st, 2008) - MagicKitchen.com proudly announces the opening of their new expanded distribution center in Kansas City, MO.  Previously meals were shipped from facilities in Oakland, CA. and Miami, FL.  Today the previous facilities are now closed and their inventories have been transferred to Kansas City.

“MagicKitchen.com had been exploring various options for warehousing our frozen products inventory for several months and we were extremely excited to find a facility with extensive freezer space and much less expensive UPS shipping costs to all areas of the country.  We now ship everywhere in the continental US via UPS ground service which will significantly reduce delivery costs and reducing the overall cost to the customer by as much as 25%-30%.” said Michelle Tayler, President of MagicKitchen.com.  “Since many of our ongoing meal program customers were not located close to our prior warehousing facilities the cost of shipping was a significant part of the cost paid for our service.  Now with these reduced costs for delivery, our customers are very excited to hear that we will be bringing down our total cost for our ongoing meal programs.”

“Since the introduction of our full line of diabetic friendly meals in August 2008 our frozen storage requirements expanded significantly.  We found an excellent facility that is central to all parts of the continental US and we can ship products nationally with minimal expense to the customer.  Aside from lower costs of doing business in Southern Missouri, the delivery costs for our orders will assist to help grow our Eastern United States business.” commented Greg Miller, CEO MagicKitchen.com.  “This change in warehousing will allow us to continue to grow at an unprecedented rate.  This will help to reduce our costs as well as to reduce our retail pricing to our customers.  It is definitely a win-win.  Given the way the economy is today, it is important to see financial stability and cost effective pricing from your suppliers.”

Independent Living Systems Announces Distribution Agreement with MagicKitchen.com

Miami, FL - (October 8, 2008) - In an exciting development in the meal delivery industry, Independent Living Systems LLC has partnered with MagicKitchen.com, a leading online retail marketer of home-style, chef-prepared gourmet meals. Previously, Independent Living Systems focused their business on selling their meals and programs exclusively to the healthcare sector. The new agreement maintains that the company will distribute their full line of healthy meals to MagicKitchen.com for sale to the public sector as well.

The meals will be added to an existing lineup of healthy, nutritious meals that Northern California based MagicKitchen.com sells online and through their call center. Since their inception in 2005, MagicKitchen.com has focused on providing healthy, nutritious meals that serve seniors still living by themselves as well as busy families struggling to find time to prepare nutritious healthy meals. “As the MagicKitchen.com customer base grew, we found that we were asked more and more frequently to offer meals to people with special diets and special needs. Our agreement with Independent Living Systems is very exciting as it opens more avenues to assist our core customer base with their meals,” says Michelle Tayler, President of MagicKitchen.com.

These new, healthy meal offerings were specifically designed by Independent Living System’s in-house nutritionists for diabetic diets, low sodium and low sugar (carbohydrate) diets, patients with congestive heart failure, and individuals who struggle to maintain a healthy diet and weight. “We have had great success with this meal program and we have a 96% plus satisfaction rating with the meals in this program,” says chairman and CEO of Independent Living Systems LLC, Nestor Plana.

Now offered through MagicKitchen.com, the meals will help individuals in need find viable meal options that are flavorful and yet still meet their dietary needs whether they are diabetic or simply looking to improve their health. “MagicKitchen.com is extremely excited by the opportunity to work with Independent Living Systems as they have an excellent product and there is huge potential for meal options just like across the US,” stated Greg Miller, CEO of MagicKitchen.com.

The meal program can be viewed via a link to MagicKitchen.com’s sister website www.DiabeticMealPrograms.com. Additional websites will be put in service to sell these products in the coming months.

MagicKitchen.com Announces Expanded Fundraising Opportunities for Schools, Churches and Teams

MagicKitchen.com today announced a much expanded program for fundraising opportunities for Fall 2008.  “This new program offers not only the ability to generate significant funds through personal meal purchases and meal gifts purchased for your friends and family, but also any purchases made by your friends and family anywhere in the United States.  All these people can now be a part of your organization’s fundraising efforts through their meal purchases and their meal gifts for others.” said Greg Miller, CEO of MagicKitchen.com.  “Any purchases made through our website www.MagicKitchen.com or via our toll free customer service lines (877-516-2442) qualify for fundraising for any registered organization.”

Full details of the MagicKitchen.com Fundraising Program are available at http://www.magickitchen.com/fundraising.html.  MagicKitchen.com has actively been involved with fundraising programs since the company was formed in 2005.   Gift Certificates from MagicKitchen.com or meal bundles presented at fundraising actions have in the past been a sought after choice of auction-goers.  With these new terms of the MagicKitchen.com Fundraising Program, an organization can potentially generate endless funds.  You can recruit as many people as you want to be a part of the fundraising efforts and the good news is “They all eat every day so they may as well purchase meals or food gifts that will help their favorite organization.  Especially when the economy is tight, people are sometimes not as generous as they could be when times are good.  The nice part about the MagicKitchen.com fundraising program is that it offers fundraising on an everyday expense that everyone has.  Typically food expenses are one of the larger expenses a family has each month.” said Mr. Miller.

For more information on fundraising opportunities or information on MagicKitchen.com in general please refer to their website www.MagicKitchen.com or contact Greg Miller, CEO of MagicKitchen.com.
